Advanced Magnetics names Arkowitz as CFO

MRI contrast agent developer Advanced Magnetics has appointed David Arkowitz as its chief financial officer (CFO) and chief business officer (CBO).

Arkowitz brings more than 16 years of pharmaceutical financial experience to the company, having most recently served as CFO and treasurer of Idenix Pharmaceuticals, according to the Cambridge, MA-based Advanced Magnetics.
