Ethicon unveils new MR biopsy system

Interventional device developer Ethicon Endo-Surgery of Cincinnati has launched its Universal Mammotome MR biopsy system.

Universal Mammotome MR offers the same features as the company's first Mammotome MR device, is compatible with a wider variety of breast coils and magnets, and can work with most grid/cube localization systems.

It also features a depth locking system called the Z-lock, which is designed to maintain consistent depth during sampling.
