Hitachi Medical Systems America of Twinsburg, OH, is offering upgrades to its Rapid 3D and Radar capabilities, along with the Origin 2.0 software upgrade, at no charge to Echelon 1.5T MRI users.
Rapid 3D is designed for multidirectional acceleration for parallel imaging and enhanced breast and abdominal imaging capabilities. With Radar, users can acquire motion-free images in all planes and coils with various tissue weighting, including T1, T2, and inversion recovery (IR) suppressed, according to Hitachi.
Additional pulse sequences, clinical capabilities, and workflow enhancements are part of the Origin 2.0 software release.
