Patient Comfort Systems of Hayward, CA, has introduced its new CTL pad sets, designed for MRI scanners made by GE Healthcare of Chalfont St. Giles, U.K., and Philips Healthcare of Andover, MA.
The new pads were created, in part, to address patient comfort and the growing threats of infections spread by contact such as antibiotic-resistant bacteria like methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA).
The new pads feature pressure-managing viscoelastic materials designed to conform to the body for enhanced comfort and less patient movement.
