Hitachi Medical Systems America of Twinsburg, OH, is providing users of its Oasis open MRI scanner with new software upgrades at no charge.
The company's Origin 2.0 software upgrade will include Rapid 3D and Radar spin-echo techniques, as well as Balanced Sarge. Rapid 3D provides multidirectional acceleration for parallel imaging, while Radar spin-echo and Balanced Sarge add to Hitachi’s motion-compensation imaging technique.
Additional pulse sequences, clinical capabilities, and workflow enhancements are also featured in the Origin 2.0 software release.
