NordicNeuroLab inks fMRI deal

NordicNeuroLab has announced an agreement to equip two MR scanners with fMRI to enable functional imaging exams at Brigham and Women's Hospital (BWH) in Boston.

The systems will include the company's MR-compatible hardware for stimulus delivery and response collections, as well as nordicAktiva software for stimulus presentation and nordicICE for image analysis and visualization.

The fMRI systems will be used to conduct research and to support BWH's brain tumor program in clinical applications in collaboration with the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, according to the Bergen, Norway-based company.
