Hitachi scores MedAssets deal

Hitachi Medical Systems America of Twinsburg, OH, has been awarded a contract for its open MRI scanners from MedAssets Supply Chain Systems of Alpharetta, GA.

The contract, effective January 1, 2010, features Hitachi's Oasis 1.2-tesla high-field boreless MRI scanner.
