GE Healthcare launched a new MRI scanner in its Brivo line at last week's Arab Health 2010 conference in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The Chalfont St. Giles, U.K.-based vendor took the opportunity to unveil Brivo MR355 scanner as a work-in-progress. Part of GE's healthymagination initiative, Brivo MR355 is an affordable system suitable for both new and experienced users, according to the firm.
GE also presented other recent additions to its MR portfolio at the Arab Health meeting, including its MR-Touch elastography system, Optima MR450w wide-bore MRI scanner, and Optima MR360 1.5-tesla scanner.
