Kopp launches GaussAlert alarm system

Ferromagnetic detector developer Kopp Development has launched GaussAlert, a new safety tool for MRI suites.

GaussAlert sounds an alarm when equipment is moved too close to MRI suites, helping keep devices outside the MRI exclusion zone. It is internally powered, with no need to change the battery for five years, according to the Jensen Beach, FL, company.
