Net revenues slipped for MRI vendor Fonar in its fiscal third quarter.
For the period (end-March 31), the Melville, NY-based vendor had total net revenues of $7.5 million, down 33.6% from the $11.3 million posted in the third quarter of fiscal 2009. The firm had a net loss of $8,000, compared with a net loss of $1.3 million a year ago.
Fonar noted that the diagnostic imaging centers management segment produced $2.7 million in revenues, up 10% from the $2.5 million turned in during the fiscal 2009 third quarter. Service and repair fees also yielded $2.8 million in revenue, up 8% from the $2.6 million generated a year ago.
