Radiology services management company NextImage Medical of San Diego has acquired SelectMRI of Jacksonville, FL, from its previous owner, care management company MSC Care Management, also of Jacksonville.
NextImage Medical has acquired 100% of SelectMRI's membership from MSC. The transaction was closed on August 30, 2010; no financial details were disclosed. SelectMRI now becomes a subsidiary of NextImage.
NextImage Medical was founded in 2008 to help insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and self-insured firms manage workers' compensation claims and reduce healthcare costs by providing them with a network of medical imaging care providers.
