Diagnostic medical physics consulting firm Phoenix Technology has entered into a strategic partnership with Toshiba America Medical Systems to offer American College of Radiology (ACR) accreditation support services to Toshiba's MRI customers, the company said.
Through this arrangement, Phoenix Technology will provide Toshiba customers with quality assurance (QA) testing of the magnet and quality control training for MRI technologists to conform with current requirements of the ACR accreditation program. Phoenix will assist with the development, implementation, and maintenance of an onsite MRI ACR quality assurance program and work with technologists to ensure that optimum image quality is achieved and protocols for continued QA are understood and updated, according to the firm.
