Sales of its MRI-compatible patient vital signs monitoring system helped MRI accessories developer IRadimed achieve solid revenue and earnings gains in its second quarter.
For the period (end-June 30), the company had $9.2 million in revenue, up 24.3% from the $7.4 million reported in the second quarter of 2018. The vendor also had quarterly net income of $2.1 million, compared with net income of $1.4 million a year ago.
Looking ahead, IRadimed said it expects to report revenue of $9.7 million to $10 million in its third quarter, with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) diluted earnings per share of $0.12 to $0.14 and non-GAAP diluted earnings per share of $0.14 to $0.16.
