Analogic subsidiary B-K Medical of Copenhagen, Denmark, has added a portable ultrasound scanner to its product line. The scanner, Merlin 1101, incorporates a new digital hybrid beamformer technology. The product also features continuous uniform focus, and the ability to scan frequencies beyond 10 MHz.
