Ultrasound vendor Esaote North America has released its new elastography application, ElaXto, for the company's new ultrasound scanners, MyLabTwice and MyLabClassC.
Intended for breast, thyroid, and musculoskeletal applications, the technology is designed for measuring and evaluating the elastic properties of tissues, Esaote said.
ElaXto procedures are performed using a MyLab scanner's high-frequency transducers and require no special settings for image acquisition.
