Samsung has unveiled a new ultrasound system at this week's Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (SDMS) meeting in National Harbor, MD.
Samsung Hera I10 is the newest member of Samsung's Hera family of ultrasound systems, and it has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration clearance. It incorporates the company's Crystal Architecture, ShadowHDR, LumiFlow, and MV-Flow tools, and features an integrated, motorized exam chair that can be adjusted from 18.9 inches to a maximum height of 38.6 inches. Hera I10 can support up to 440 lb. It also features a "floating console" that allows technicians to position the system as needed, Samsung said.
