Butterfly Network is offering a new proficiency management tool as part of the company's Butterfly Blueprint enterprise imaging software, showing it at the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) annual meeting in San Francisco.
The company said the application is designed to support the learning, credentialing, management, and scaling of POCUS use and information across healthcare enterprises.
Through the application's dashboards, users can assign proficiency requirements, including setting thresholds for each exam type, assigning didactic education requirements, and notifying users on their progress toward proficiency in POCUS. They can also analyze and compare ultrasound data, as well as assess impact, the company said.
