Eastman Kodak Health Group has received Food and Drug Administration clearance for enhancements to its computer-aided detection (CAD) system.
Available now, the new software increases the system's sensitivity to microcalcification clusters, while reducing the number of false-positive markers, according to the Rochester, NY-based vendor. Existing customers will receive software upgrades as part of Kodak's standard one-year warranty.
