Computer-aided detection (CAD) developer iCAD of Nashua, NH, has introduced PowerLook, a software extension for its SecondLook Viewer review workstations.
PowerLook brings various digital reading tools to SecondLook Viewer, including window/level brightness control, min/max gray-level adjustment, digital zoom, pan, and rule and grid overlay. PowerLook uses a touchscreen interface.
PowerLook was designed to support radiologists doing primary reading of mammograms from original mammography films, according to iCAD. The company believes that PowerLook will enable radiologists to better understand the context in which a mammogram is marked with CAD indicators.
