Computer-aided detection (CAD) and digitizer firm iCAD has introduced its PureLook mammography film digitizer.
Serving as the film-to-digital acquisition module for iCAD's TotalLook and SecondLook product lines, PureLook is the next step in the evolutionary development of iCAD's Fulcrum digitizer, according to the Nashua, NH-based vendor. PureLook provides an optical density range of 0 to 4.4, and can capture image detail at 12 lp/mm, iCAD said.
It can acquire a small mammogram film in 23 seconds, according to the company.
