Women's imaging vendor Hologic has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Cynosure, a provider of women's health products that include body contouring, hair removal, and skin revitalization.
Under the proposal, Hologic would pay $66 per share in cash for a total value of approximately $1.65 billion and an enterprise value of $1.44 billion net of cash.
Both companies have approved the transaction unanimously.
