Konica Minolta Healthcare Americas and Emory Healthcare hospital network in Atlanta have formed a strategic partnership with the goal of developing new ways to personalize patient care.
Emory Healthcare will also be the first clinical site to adopt the company's dynamic digital radiography (DDR) technology for orthopedics, the company said. In addition, Konica Minolta will install its Exa Mammo breast imaging PACS in Emory's oncology department.
Together, the organizations will seek out new approaches to implement precision medicine and further integrate genetics in care delivery, Konica said.
Emory Healthcare plans to host an inaugural event featuring its array of Konica Minolta technologies on July 10.
