Image software and archiving firm Candelis has launched a new breast imaging workstation.
The company's Advanced Breast Imaging Workstation works with the firm's ImageGrid platform. The software supports mammography and tomosynthesis images from Hologic, GE Healthcare, Siemens Healthineers, Fujifilm, Planmed, and Giotto, as well as 3D breast ultrasound images acquired with GE, Hitachi, Siemens, and iVu systems.
The workstation features tools such as retrieval of prior studies from PACS; delivery of prior studies to the workstation during nonpeak hours; caching exams on the workstation; and prerendering prior exams, according to the firm.
