Clock is ticking on Minnies nominations

Dear AuntMinnie Member,

You've got just a few days left to submit your nominations for the Minnies, AuntMinnie.com's annual awards competition to recognize excellence in medical imaging. Our deadline for submissions is midnight (PDT) on Monday, August 22.

Whether it's a researcher you think deserves recognition, or a new product that's changing the way you practice, the Minnies gives you the chance to make your voice heard about what's hot and what's not in medical imaging.

Your nominations will be used to assemble a list of semifinals candidates representing the cream of the crop in radiology. Our semifinals vote will narrow that list down to two finalists in each of our 12 categories, with the final vote determining the winners. The top vote-getters will be honored at this year's RSNA show in Chicago.

So head over to minnies.auntminnie.com to submit your nominations. To view a list of last year's winners, just click here.

When you're done, check out a new story in our Cardiac Imaging Digital Community on the use of real-time 3D echocardiography for quantifying global left ventricular dyssynchrony. The technique could be an improvement over more established methods, and could help identify more chronic heart failure patients who could benefit from cardiac resynchronization therapy. Read all about it by clicking here.
