Imaging Biometrics points to brain tumor study

Advanced visualization software developer Imaging Biometrics is touting a recent study that evaluated the performance of its Delta T1 (dT1) automated quantitative mapping software in assessing brain tumor burden.

In a study published in the July issue of the American Journal of Neuroradiology, researchers led by Kathleen Schmainda, PhD, from the Medical College of Wisconsin found that Imaging Biometrics' dT1 maps yielded comparable performance to manual methods for predicting early progression of tumors. The software also offers the potential for substantial time and cost savings.
