National Ultrasound has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Elesta to sell that company's EchoLaser ultrasound-guided laser treatment unit in the U.S.
The EchoLaser X4 can be paired with most ultrasound scanners and is intended for the microinvasive, atraumatic, and anesthesia-free outpatient treatment of soft-tissue lesions.
Elesta has accumulated clinical evidence backing use of the system in multiple clinical applications, including benign thyroid nodules and benign prostate hyperplasia. Elesta already has an international presence, especially in Europe and China.
