Image enhancement developer ContextVision has debuted clinical direct focused enhancement (DFE), a new algorithm aimed at enhancing subtle pathology in technically difficult maternity patients.
Clinical DFE targets anatomical-specific features to isolate and enhance selected parts of an image. This allows physicians to access enhanced images in real-time, even with technically difficult patients, according to the vendor. Clinical DFE will be available with ContextVision's US PlusView and GOPice US ultrasound image enhancement software.
The company will showcase clinical DFE in its booth at the World Congress on Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Los Angeles.
