Radiology informatics firm Aycan Medical Systems has inked a contract with Trivascular, a manufacturer of abdominal stent graft systems for treating abdominal aortic aneurysms.
Trivascular will use Aycan's OsiriX Pro software with its vessel-analysis tool to review CT datasets for device and case planning recommendations, according to Aycan. The vessel-analysis tool supports segmentation of vessels in CT datasets; it can be used to mark specific areas for vessel segmentation so that vessels can be displayed separately in different views, the company said.
