Advanced visualization firm Vital Images has released the latest upgrade to its Vitrea software package.
Vitrea 6.7 features an updated image de-noising function, which smoothes out uniform tissue while preserving edges, giving users a clearer view of de-noised images, Vital said. It also includes improvements to the package's STL export function and enhancements to partner technologies such as Olea Sphere, Visia CT lung computer-aided detection (CAD), Mirada RTx, and the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center cardiac suite.
Along with the upgraded Vitrea package, Vital is introducing Vitrea.InnerVision, which monitors the health of Vitrea software and proactively alerts the company about potential operational issues, according to the firm.
