Advanced visualization (AV) software developer Ziosoft is showcasing its Extracellular Volume Fraction with computed tomography (ECVct) and Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion (LAAO) software applications at the annual American College of Cardiology (ACC) convention.
With ECVct and Ziosoft's advanced visualization software, CT planning for transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) can help analyze coronary CT angiography (CCTA) and dual-energy studies to detect amyloidosis and track the degree of infiltration, according to the vendor. The analysis adds an additional three minutes to standard CT imaging evaluation and a small radiation burden in these patients, Ziosoft said.
Ziosoft is also emphasizing LAAO, which provides automated cardiac and atrial appendage segmentation for sizing and planning of LAAO procedures. Both ECVct and LAAO are available on the firm's flagship Ziostation2 platform.
In other Ziosoft news at ACC 2022, the company is directing attention to its PhyZiodynamics 3D/4D software, CT lung resection software, and its new Zioflex risk-free monthly subscription program for AV clinical applications.
