MIM Software and oncology surgery company Videra Surgical are teaming up on a new partnership involving breast cancer radiation therapy.
Under the agreement, MIM has created an automated workflow to aid users in the identification and segmentation of Videra's VeraForm tumor bed marker, enabling radiation oncologists in performing semiautomated and automated contouring of the tumor bed, according to the vendors.
VeraForm is a radiopaque, 3D, multiplanar tissue marker that can be visualized on conventional planning CT exams.
