Computer-aided detection (CAD) developer R2 Technology has appointed industry veteran Shawl Lobree as its vice president of marketing.
Lobree, formerly of Siemens Medical Solutions, will lead the Sunnyvale, CA-based firm's marketing strategy as it grows its existing markets and expands into new medical applications, R2 said.
He joins three other executives who have recently become part of the R2 management team, according to the company.
Denise Gottfried was named vice president, regulatory, clinical, medical, and quality. She comes to R2 from TekTeam, a private capital investment and medical consulting company, where she was president.
Brad Freeman was selected as vice president of global supply chain, service, and information services. He joins R2 from Siemens where he was vice president of strategic purchasing and chief information officer for its ultrasound division.
Stephen Geisheker was hired as director of customer service. He comes to R2 from Plexus Software, where he served as director of customer support and operations, the company said.
