Computer-aided detection (CAD) technology developer iCAD posted a decrease in sales and a net loss for its fiscal 2005 second quarter.
For the period (end-June 30) the Nashua, NH-based firm reported revenue of $4.2 million, a downturn compared with sales of $5.6 million for the same quarter in fiscal 2004.
The company posted a net loss of $1.1 million for the quarter, compared with net income of $46,000 in the same period a year ago.
The CAD developer said that legal expenses of approximately $535,000, associated principally with its patent arbitration proceedings, significantly contributed to the current loss.
