iCAD chosen for China breast cancer screening program

Computer-aided detection (CAD) technology developer iCAD reported that its SecondLook system for breast cancer detection has been selected for use in the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association's Million Women Breast Cancer Screening program.

The association has entered into a five-year agreement with iCAD's reseller in China for a minimum of 100 SecondLook film-based CAD systems. The Nashua, NH-based company is expected to ship the first order for 20 film-based CAD systems, worth approximately $426,000, to China in December.
