Philips Healthcare has delivered its Illumeo artificial intelligence (AI) software to Northland District Health Board (DHB) in Whangarei, New Zealand, marking the firm's debut of Illumeo in the Asia-Pacific region.
Northland DHB is also the first healthcare provider to adopt Illumeo outside of the U.S. Using what Philips calls adaptive intelligence to pull data from various software applications at a hospital, Illumeo presents a holistic view of the patient and provides diagnostic tools that adapt to physician needs, offering added insights and optimizing workflow based on clinician preferences, according to the vendor.
Illumeo will automatically record the preferences of Northland DHB radiologists and adapt the user interface by offering toolsets and measurements driven by the software's understanding of the patient's clinical context, Philips said.
