Radiology Partners and Stanford collaborate on AI

Radiology Partners has entered into a strategic partnership with Stanford Radiology’s AI Development and Evaluation (AIDE) Lab.

Through its technology and AI services division, Mosaic Clinical Technologies, Radiology Partners, and the AIDE Lab will develop new methods for assessing and continuously monitoring medical imaging AI tools. The research will be conducted at Stanford University and will include active participation from Radiology Partners radiologists and data science teams, the firm said.

“By combining [the AIDE Lab’s] academic expertise with [Radiology Partners’] scale and clinical integration experience, we have the opportunity to develop and share evidence-based systems for AI validation and monitoring that work in real-world practice,” said Nina Kottler, MD, chief medical AI officer for Mosaic Clinical Technologies, in a news release.
