RIS developer Data Transfer of Thousand Oaks, CA, which has a marketing relationship with Hawthorne, CA-based American Medical Sales (AMS), will showcase its DTI VisualRadPro RIS as well as a scaled down miniRIS/EMR system -- MidasRIS.

2005 11 17 16 19 48 706 MidasRIS is designed for imaging centers and independent radiology practices, and complements AMS' MidasPACS offering, according to Data Transfer. The starting package includes all basic RIS applications with additional modules available for purchase as needed. MidasRIS is priced at $3,500 and will be commercially available worldwide this month.

The firm will also be demonstrating its VisualRadPro RIS with a completely integrated Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) program. The application features a module for seamless integration with AMS PACS, allowing unread studies to automatically display associated images, the company said.
