Healthcare informatics heavyweight Cerner will spotlight its Millennium RadNet, unified RadNet RIS, and ProVision PACS in McCormick Place this month.
Millennium RadNet has been bolstered with the addition of an automated critical results notification that supports Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) 2006 patient safety initiatives, as well as workflow improvements, according to the Kansas City, MO, company.
The firm also noted that it is working to enable physicians to provide more accurate orders to the radiology department through automated conversations with the requesting clinician via a computerized physician order entry (CPOE) application.
Millennium RadNet, available now, can be scaled for a standalone imaging center up to a large, multifacility integrated delivery network (IDN), the company said.
