Eastman Kodak Health Group of Rochester, NY, will launch the latest version of its CareStream RIS application, and will showcase its CareStream Enterprise Information services at the 2005 RSNA show.
The latest version of the CareStream RIS features scheduling enhancements such as color-coded visual indicators of patient status to address patient wait times, and single-click generation of normal reports and workload indicators, as well as single-click access to studies in different stages of completion.
The RIS has the capability to interrupt and then resume report dictation to address urgent cases without loss of work. It also includes remote diagnostic dictation and report signing through a Web module that provides location flexibility.
The company will also be exhibiting its information management offerings such as CaresStream enterprise information management (EIM), hosted information management (HIM), and regional information management (RIM). The packages are composed of software, industry-standard hardware, and professional services that can include network analysis and upgrades, data migration, secure e-mail service, and other options, Kodak said.
