eRad will debut e3, a new information technology platform designed to expand and extend the firm's PACS application throughout the healthcare enterprise.

The e3 software has new enterprise-capable archive and disaster recovery components, a new speech recognition module, RIS capability, and a PACS Accessory Line (PAL) that provides Web distributed reports and Web browser-enabled viewing capabilities.

The product is currently available worldwide, according to the Greenville, SC, company.

eRad is also strategically partnered with Misys Healthcare Systems in offering a RIS/PACS product.
