MammoBase of Oak Ridge, TN, will unveil and demonstrate its MammoBase QC Module for breast imaging centers.

The product complements the firm's MammoBase MB1000 and MB3000 mammography patient tracking and reporting products with machine-based quality control tracking. The company said that this provides the mammography technologist with a full set of QC tools for Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) compliance.

The MammoBase QC Module features Repeat Film Analysis and other MQSA QC tracking tests, the company said.

The product is scheduled to be available worldwide in January 2006 for $2,500.
