SmartPACS/Infinitt will introduce its Infinitt RIS/PACS product with support for 64-bit operating systems and enhanced CT and MR capabilities.

SmartPACS/Infinitt will introduce its Infinitt RIS/PACS product with support for 64-bit operating systems and enhanced CT and MR capabilities.

Infinitt RIS/PACS is loaded with advanced visualization PACS enhancements with 3D viewing functions, and will have dedicated 3D packages for multiple applications that are scheduled to be delivered in the second quarter next year.

The RIS portion of the application features advanced work list features for searching and user customization. Automatic update and management of individual workstations capabilities are also included. In addition, it supports multimedia reporting using structured reports.

The Infinitt RIS/PACS is DICOM-, HL7-, and HIPAA-compliant, and was designed on the Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) technical framework, the Phillipsburg, NJ, developer said.

The application will be available worldwide in December.
