Philips Medical Systems is showcasing its Xtenity RIS product and EasyRIS application.
Xtenity RIS release 1 features a consistent user interface, bidirectional flow of information, and integration with the Andover, MA-based vendor's iSite PACS product, according to Philips. The Xtenity RIS can interface and share information with a hospital's enterprise infrastructure and features roles-based workflows that can be configured to each radiology department user, Philips said.
In addition to the integration of HIS, RIS, and PACS on the desktop, the Xtenity RIS provides the capability to monitor and manage workflow in real-time; system alerts and interaction checks support clinical decisions as well as financial decisions related to charge capture, the company said. The Xtenity RIS is available in the U.S.
EasyRIS 3.1, available outside the U.S., features audit trail functionality, digital signature for medical reports, protocol scheduling, a simplified user interface, and integration with Philips' iSite and EasyAccess products. The application also boasts a more convenient appoint scheduling module and more efficient reporting workflow, according to the vendor.
