Healthcare software developer Commissure has signed an exclusive technology license agreement with Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) to license Lexicon Mediated Entropy Reduction (LEXIMER) and Radiology Order Entry (ROE) technology to the Boston-based facility.
LEXIMER is designed to automatically classify unstructured radiology reports through the use of natural language processing and allows for identification of patterns associated with findings and recommendations, as well as a number of other data mining capabilities, according to New York City-based Commissure.
