Electronic medical record (EMR) applications developer A4 Health Systems of Cary, NC, said it has been chosen to provide connectivity between its HealthMatics EMR system and collaborative healthcare network HealthBridge.
Physician practices utilizing the HealthMatics EMR product can now access lab results, radiology reports, and transcribed notes from more than 17 hospitals via a clinical messaging system, the company said.
HealthBridge provides authorized users with access to 40 different clinical applications and delivers more than 1.3 million clinical results per month to 3,800 physicians. Participating health systems include Mercy Health, TriHealth, Health Alliance, St. Elizabeth, and Cincinnati Children's, according to A4.
