Canadian medical imaging and informatics software developer Cedara Software said it has been selected to distribute a RIS application from Karlsruhe, Germany-based medavis to healthcare facilities in the U.K., Ireland, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and Lebanon.
Cedara said it will be tightly bundling the medavis RIS with its Fusion PACS product to create an integrated RIS/PACS offering, according to the Mississauga, Ontario-based subsidiary of Merge Healthcare.
