Electronic health record firm eHealth Technologies has received Service Organization Control No. 2 (SOC2) type II certification for its healthcare records management system.
Accounting firm Macpage performed the SOC2 type II audit, which evaluates the effectiveness of controls throughout a six- to 12-month period using predefined trust services principles and criteria as a benchmark for security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, or privacy, eHealth said.
