PACS firm Intelerad Medical Systems has introduced InteleConnect EV, a new version of its referring physician portal.
Accessible from any desktop or mobile device, InteleConnect EV is a zero-footprint application and enterprise viewer that can accommodate multispecialty and referral workflows, according to the vendor. In addition to facilitating cross-enterprise access to images and reports, it provides full-fidelity images, enhanced viewing and manipulation tools, and an instant messaging capability to facilitate real-time communication between clinicians, Intelerad said.
Other features for referring physicians include real-time patient status updates as well as notification of report availability and critical results, the company said. Customers can also view analytics data from their referrer base directly from InteleConnect EV using the firm's InteleConnect Patterns module.
