Carestream Health plans to highlight new imaging analytics tools it has added to its Clinical Collaboration Platform at the upcoming Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) conference in Pittsburgh.
The company is partnering with Zebra Medical Vision to incorporate imaging analytics software into the platform to allow users to calculate liver density from a CT chest or abdomen study, identify emphysema by detecting levels of trapped air in the lungs from a noncontrast CT chest study, and assess levels of coronary calcium from noncontrast CT chest studies, according to the firm.
The platform currently offers tools for monitoring and analysis for business/operational planning, clinical decision support and quality metrics, regulatory compliance, and participation in national registries and peer review, Carestream said.
