Eastman Kodak Health Imaging and cardiac PACS firm Heartlab of Westerly, RI, have signed a marketing and reseller agreement. Under terms of the deal, Kodak will market Heartlab's Encompass line of cardiac image and data management products along with its DirectView PACS System 5.
The agreement also allows Heartlab to market the DirectView PACS System 5 and resell Kodak's DirectView Versatile Intelligent Patient archive (VIParchive) software, according to the Rochester, NY-based vendor.
In other news, Eastman Kodak has allied with Newton, CT-based independent testing and assessment services provider TUV Rheinland of North America, to provide regulatory compliance and testing services to Kodak and other companies worldwide.
The company said the partnership will strengthen its position to provide faster, more efficient commercialization of equipment products, such as cameras, scanners, and medical devices that are designed and manufactured at its facilities worldwide.
